I am a philosopher of science and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the American University of Beirut. I specialize in philosophy of science (and its history), metaphysics, and Islamic philosophy.

I have been a Visiting Fellow and a Summer Archival Fellow at the Center for Philosophy of Science, University of Pittsburgh, an IVC Fellow at the Institute Vienna Circle, University of Vienna, and a postdoctoral fellow at Reilly Center for Science, Technology, and Values. I received my PhD from the University of Notre Dame.
